Photographs consisting of black and white prints documenting the effects of Mississippi River flooding on the tracks of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railway Company (CB&Q). The CB&Q was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Great Northern Railway Company and the Northern Pacific Railway Company and was one of the four companies that merged in 1970 to form Burlington Northern Inc. Taken in April and May of 1965, the bulk of the photographs are of tracks in Wisconsin, although a few depict areas in Illinois and Missouri.
